Physics

Teen Wolf
Season Two: Alphas

Physics

Stiles was tired of the disrespect he was being given even as the pack said he wasn’t part of them, they kept insisting he do things for them. And now he had been captured by one of the Alphas to be yet another message to the pack that they would ignore yet again.

Erica and Boyd had already been killed, and he was next on the chopping block as they kept him in the vault at the bank. Cora, the Hale’s little sister that had escaped the fire was there with him and was further blocked by Mountain Ash to keep from escaping. Ash the Alphas seemed to have lots of thanks to one that was protecting them and was the sister to their own, beloved, Deaton.
Funny thing about Deaton though was he had kept hinting enough that Stiles had power of his own, enough that Stiles had found it on his own and was currently working on bringing it out to when it would be the best time to attack and take everyone out and let whatever god sort them out in the afterlife.

The Alphas were gloating that they were about to move in to take out the most recent pack threats to their power when the sister arrived. At that time Stiles attacked with a spell he had learned from gaming as a cleric in fantasy war gaming, Gust of Wind. Pushing the Ash that had been around them and stopping Cora from freeing him from his bindings to tornado around the enemy instead. From there, he cast fire bolt and lit the ash on fire and exploded everything inside of it and took out the enemy in one fell swoop. To lots of quick screaming that died soon afterwards as they all perished in the explosion. The free Cora looked dumbfounded at the new pile of ashes and burnt bodies, then turned to him, “Remind me to never, ever, make you angry at me.” Before freeing him from his own bindings then they both left the building to call her family and his father to report the end of the current problem.

For some reason, the pack stayed far away from him after that, especially Lydia when he told him it was a simple application of physics and D&D magical logic.
Deaton made tracks out of town soon afterwards, never to be seen again.

Bunny that spawned this:
Used a variation in D&D, heading down a corridor to a sawdust-floored gladiatorial arena filled with enemies. Asked the DM if physics applied, when he said yes, my cleric cast Gust of Wind, our wizard cast Fire Bolt and the resulting explosion killed everything there, except us, because Gust of Wind kept the explosion away from us.
