What if the heroes of your fandom ran into a mad genius who was using Battlebots robots for their security force? Some are loud, some are massive, but some are smaller and quieter and kinda deadly if they hit you in a good spot.

which one’s going to blow off the threat potential and get hurt? which one will respect it and get hurt? and does the genius have minions who do the byplay commenting?

The internet sites showing the latest ex-vengers battling Battlebots at a small Colosseum field somewhere, were blowing up with so many viewers hitting it to watch. With an AI named Vengeance doing commentary on the fighting as Lee from Harry Potter during a quidditch match style. Underneath was a scrolling platform run by one called F. Who was running the current odds for any betting anyone wanted in on, the betting from people around the world was going hot and heavy, with added commentary in the side bars in each language on what was going on by those watching.
No matter what the various governments tried to do in shutting the sites down, it never worked, with added commentary on who the cyber person was who tried it and what government agency they worked for just for fun. On the scroll bar added bets on who would be next to try to shut the services down.

Final bets were going heavy on what would ultimately take each member down and out, and if they would actually be killed or just injured permanently, went on as the battles raged on, and profits for the business running the sites ran higher. Those profits being put over to charitable agencies cleaning up and aiding those who had been hurt by the ex-vengers.

Finally, Wanda hallucinating from a poisoned dart from one dart took her own last team member out and then her hands were blown up killing her from the shock. Cap had been taken out by her in her own madness as he battled his mind then his own heart had exploded from her powers as she took out what she saw as her enemy. The other less dangerous members were now crippled and easier to manage and were being brought in so they could be packaged to the Interpol Agents waiting for them near Greece. As they each were flown in by the Battlebots that took them down.

The site was asked by the UN off the record if it could do the same with the other criminal powered people. Vengeance opened up talks then and there.
But that’s another story.
