I questioned quite a bit ago, about what if the X-Files universe and the MC Universe crossed over and the Consortium and Hydra lived in the same universe (scary thought that) With operation Paper Clip bringing just as many Consortium operatives to the Allies as it did Hydra agents.

So the question is, just who did Stane work for then? The Consortium? Or Hydra? And who was ultimately responsible for the Starks murder? The Consortium to gain control and access to Tony? Or Hydra to gain access to the Starks resources?

Either is scary unto themselves, but the thought of the Consortium gaining a hold of the young genius Stark for what they were doing at that time period (as shown in the early seasons of the X-Files) is even scarier.
