Chapter Three:
First year of High School and Willow’s Wish

Thanks to a botched appendix operation when he was younger, Xander missed his first-grade year and had to take it later, so going into his freshman year he was already sixteen. If barely. And Uncle Rory had him signed up with a private driving school for the first quarter of the school year. Meeting with his instructor after school each day. And in the early morning hours he was getting private martial arts classes with a daemon Uncle Rory was friends with. One who had his living and working establishments warded heavily to keep the night life out.

Xander’s free time and work time were spent learning electronics from his uncle. And then computers both hardware and software. Then designing on the computer, he designed and built for himself.

His overall grades now match the Queen of Geeks; Willow, and she didn’t like that. Setting her slave, Larry, and his jocks on him several times to be rebuffed and Snyder trying to give him detention till Uncle Rory had him audited by the daemons in the government for his hubris in going after one who was his.
Xander was given an extremely wide berth after that by the staff, and his actions against the attacking jocks were now ignored to Willows’ disgust.

The freshman fight between the two of them came to a head with Willow’s summoning of the Vengeance Demon, Anyanka over being scorned by the one she had once loved. Her wish? That her once love be sent to a place and realm far, far, away in the past, never to return.

Next thing everyone heard was…. WISH GRANTED.

And the Xander of that realm and dimension…. Ceased to exist.
