It was now just Spring Break and Harry was desperately trying to get his added homework done and hidden before it could be destroyed like all the others he’d been working on since it came out he could somehow talk to snakes.

The second year Puff’s were at a table away from him, but he could still Abbott defending him over Smith and Bones’ complaints that he was just a killer and murderer and should be arrested and kissed.
He’d quit writing his essays and instead had written out a set of questions on another sheet of parchment while leaving plenty of room to add more. Standing, he moved to the suddenly quiet table and told the Bones Heiress she had the right idea, but she should follow it up if she thought he should be arrested and call he Aunt, the Regent Bones and Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement in Britain. In fact, he would stand there and watch her do so and wait there until her aunt arrived. She should also tell her aunt to be a scribe as he was going to demand she place either a harsh Truth Spell on him or give him Truth Potions to ask him anything that their table or her aunt’s desires about what was going on that year that he knew or was involved with.

Meanwhile she agreed with Harry’s wishes that the questioning under Auror Strength Truth Spells due to his age would be done in the Great Hall in front of the school so EVERYONE and their dog, cat, frog, owl, and rat, would FINALLY hear the truth. She even agreed to ask his written questions even though they would embarrass a lot of the staff as they were very blatant about his thoughts on them. His only answer about the headmaster was he would never trust a pedophile as that was he saw him as. Why else would he insist on calling CHILDREN by their first names and offering them candy all the time. Teachers at his old school taught all their students about old men and Stranger Danger after all.
All the other adults in the school who let him get away with it were at the very least enablers of child prostitution and rape.

The school was immediately shut down and all students escorted to pack everything to take back home. Emergency mass portkeys were made for each year by house to the Ministry where Auror’s would escort the students’ home and explain that the school was shut down and why to their parents or guardians.
Those Auror’s at the school had immediately stunned Dumbledore and Snape the moment the word Pedophilia came out of Harry’s mouth then stunned Flitwick as the next dangerous one. Dropping emergency portkeys on their bodies to drop them all into cells to be questioned.
The other staff members were also arrested and portkeyed into Ministry cells.
The expert on Phoenixes talked to Fawkes in the headmaster’s tower and explained why he was a prisoner and had to stay there. Getting an agreeing trill.
With the school empty the investigation could truly begin with Myrtle quickly questioned as being the last death by the monster and still around as a ghost. From there they found the tunnels that their beast speaker got them into.

From there it wasn’t long before the creature was destroyed and the recently discovered caverns explored, while Bones and her seconds headed off to talk to the adult Weasleys about the red headed female who Myrtle identified as one of theirs and was the one who opened up the tunnel each time. And who was speaking to a wraith in a book she kept with her.

Eventually, while the school was empty and they had the headmaster on ice at the ministry, Bones called in the ministry warders to see just why the diary of Voldemort was able to get into the school in the first place.
The found the wards had been almost completely taken down with the magical signature being Dumbledore’s going back to his first day as headmaster.

He was kissed and his body thrown through the veil the moment parents of students’ past and present found out about that.
His staff were all medically retired as the alchemical potions he had used on them destroyed all their willpower.
The school stayed closed for years as the ministry worked to rebuild the mess he made and get new staff. The children were separated and sent to new schools all across the islands of Britain.
