Harry Potter, World Cup, Attack by Death Eater Response,
“That’s sick,” Ron muttered, watching the smallest Muggle child, who had begun to spin like a top, sixty feet above the ground, his head flopping limply from side to side. “That is really sick. . . .”
Hermione and Ginny came hurrying toward them, pulling coats over their nightdresses, with Mr. Weasley right behind them. At the same moment, Bill, Charlie, and Percy emerged from the boys’ tent, fully dressed, with their sleeves rolled up and their wands out.
“We’re going to help the Ministry!” Mr. Weasley shouted over all the noise, rolling up his own sleeves. “You lot — get into the woods and stick together. I’ll come and fetch you when we’ve sorted this out!”
“C’mon,” said Fred, grabbing Ginny’s hand and starting to pull her toward the wood. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and George followed. They all looked back as they reached the trees. The crowd beneath the Roberts family was larger than ever; they could see the Ministry wizards trying to get through it to the hooded wizards in the center, but they were having great difficulty. It looked as though they were scared to perform any spell that might make the Roberts family fall. Rowling, J.K. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (p. 48). Pottermore Publishing. Kindle Edition.
While the others looked on in shock, Harry got down on one knee. Took off his glasses and charmed the lens from his dominant eye as a viewfinder and put them back on. Waved his wand to conjure the water out of the atmosphere and form it into ice knives laying in front of him.
“Guys, aim for the family when I say now and bring them down slowly.”
“Harry, what?”
“Not now Hermione.” He aimed with his left hand at the group playing with the family and marching towards them through the camp. Then raised his wand over the ice knives, “Now!” and let the knives fly into the skulls of each of the terrorists as the others gagged but brought the family down. Then let loose a bit of a heating charm to melt the ice and cover his tracks.
“Now we get out of here, but first,” He pointed his wand to the sky and, with a Gaelic word, let loose another spell into the sky. Forming a perfect picture of a phoenix in flight. Just as the Death Eater mark went up. He moved his to burn the Skull up to cinders. And had the crowds of people who had been screaming, yelling out “Dumbledore!” And begin to cheer.
“That ought to hide us nicely.” As he grabbed Ginny’s and Hermione’s hands and forced them to move deeper into the woods.
