A Requiem for an Agent

The three friends went into the chapel. The matter of keeping the Director of NCIS away from knowing they all were good friends, was paramount for two of them to be secure, though they were working on that in the background.

All three of them genuflected as they walked forwards in the late evening, each heading up to light a candle for the fallen Agent, Paula Cassady, who had just recently been laid to rest. Saying prayers for her soul to find rest in the afterlife and that she no longer relives the terrorist bombing that took her life after losing her partners to the same men. Tony giving added prayers that she no longer remembers the betrayal of one they gave the responsibility to check the rooms where the terrorists hid, as Daveed obviously felt it was beneath the skills of Mossad to check on Arab terrorists. Or the fact that everyone now was covering for her non-actions that caused the death of a good agent.

Tony, against the Director’s wishes, was now on sabbatical while Garcia put together the camera footage to prove the guilt of the princess to put before both State and the Office of the Inspector General. Her footage, along with Tony’s copy of his original report and not the idiocy that was put in its place. Well, things should be interesting.

They finished their prayers and headed out to the rental van to the nearby beach to watch the late spring sunset then stay through the night cuddling together and watch the sunrise over the ocean.
