Genii
Chapter One:

It was too late by the time the rescue team arrived. John had been stranded in place for months his time and was now injured enough that there was nothing to do but Ascend.
He gave his goodbyes before leaving with all the others of those who he had been living with. And soon found himself as a ghost form on Atlantis. An Atlantis with no military mind to sit in the chair when the Wraith hit the next time, and everyone ended up with all culled and the Wraith on their way to Earth. Atlantis destroyed left in their wake.

The ship’s merged AI and Bioship quietly letting him know that there was a way to avoid this if he was willing. And unlike Jackson, keep as many of his memories as possible.
He was more than willing to try.

He blinked and was startled as he heard Atlantis’ klaxons blare, and his earwig call out “Intruders through the gate! Foothold!”

He marked where he was. Near the armory. And saw one of the Genii coming at him with a weapon. Which marked when. The invasion. And mentally ordered Atlantis to kill the man. Which she did with a laser shot through the brain.
He then ordered her to shut off the gate and seal it. And shut off its power and give a running count of the hits to the iris for his report later.

Then seal each doorway and go on lockdown immediately. Which she did with the doors near him slamming down. The one in front of him slicing an intruder coming towards him in half.
He went to the wall near him and opened a marked panel to pull out a rebreather and put it on, then ordered her to fill every room where there was a human with gas to knock them out fast and went to the two dead near him to take their weapons. He had her put up a stasis shield on all experiments in sciences and any surgeries going on in the infirmary and where there were injured. All the while having her record his report of the bodies and their deaths for his report to Weir and Earth.

Once things quieted and Atlantis told him everyone was down, then he opened the door nearest to the armory. And entered there. Making a running report of what he found there as he checked the Armsmaster and made him comfortable then sliced the Genii’s throat that had tried to kill the man.

Grabbing the keys to the pistol locker and ammo, he loaded a pistol with a full magazine of armor piercing bullets and grabbed several reloads – put them in a pouch for easy access, then headed out with the body to dump on the anti-grav sled he had her tractor to him for this.

Going systematically through each room to double-tap each Genii and add their now dead body to the pile and head on. Doing his precise report all the while. And having her send in Rodney’s cleaning bots to clean up the body fluids behind him and put a stasis shield in any room where there were wounded to keep them alive till he made everything safe.

One hundred and forty-seven bodies had hit the shield and been destroyed and another two hundred had been executed by his hand by the time he was done and bringing the sled to the gate room. All fully documented and Atlantis was getting ready to finish his report as he had her open the gate to the Genii home world then tractor the bodies through to them and dump them where the Genii Leaders would find them to make a statement.

He waited for the gate to shut after the sled came back and had her finish off his report with the following addendum:

Article 51:
Nothing shall impair the inherent right of individual or collective self-defense if an armed attack occurs against a Member of the United Nations, until the Security Council has taken measures necessary to maintain international peace and security. Measures taken by Members in the exercise of this right of self-defense shall be immediately reported to the Security Council and shall not in any way affect the authority and responsibility of the Security Council under the present UN Charter and Geneva Convention to take at any time such action as it deems necessary in order to maintain or restore international peace and security.

The protection of civilians is a core principle within international humanitarian law (IHL) and military charters, requiring military forces to minimize civilian harm and ensure their safety during armed conflict, as outlined in the Geneva Conventions and Additional Protocols.

Please send it to the Heads’ computers for them to read and do a data burst to Earth to send to O’Neill and Landry, with a CC to the SecDef and the President. And make sure the “diplomat” and “Conscientious Objector” he spat, “Weir knows my report had already been sent unmarked or changed by HER.”

There was a slight opening of the iris that was opened for only moments and then shut with a notice to him that he and Weir would also now have a notification that his report had been received.

He tiredly nodded and added that he wanted a direct email to O’Neill stating that he wanted a sealed document from him, to his hand, via Ellis, of the unredacted Charter for Atlantis that everyone had to sign. And please make sure O’Neill is reminded that he had arrived at SGC just in time for medical and embarkation and that he had been shoved a document to scribble his name on along with several others on his way to his next ordered station. There. And he was sure the document that was constantly being waved at him was REdacted.
Also remind O’Neill of the shit show of a debrief he had allowed to go on after contact was renewed because of that document.

If he was to live by that document, he had no idea about beforehand he wanted to see the real thing. Otherwise, O’Neill should find someone else to be the scapegoat for this goat rope of a mission.

Again, the iris opened for a few minutes and then closed, and he was told he had notice on his computer that his report had been received. He had her CC it to McKay and to begin to wake the people in the infirmary first and give them a full report on the injured and how bad and where they were. And whether they were in stasis or not. Once the injured had been taken care of, no matter what the complaints are made or by whom, only THEN begin to wake the others, beginning with the sciences in priority order. THEN the rest. And keep the gate on lockdown for now.

He headed off to put away the sled with yet more orders for it to be cleaned and sanitized by the bots, and then his quarters to clean up and change clothes and read the mail that came in that day from the various departments. After that, and while Lorne was being seen too for his own wounds, he would start on the reports he was supposed to do. And keep himself available for those that need to find him.
