He noticed everyone slowly falling away from him as he tried to heal from his wounds caused because of another.
He noticed the pictures of parties and get-together s he never seemed to hear about anymore, just to see on the group’s site.
He noticed no one seemed to be available anymore to help him or talk to him unless they needed a sitter.
He noticed that when members of his “family” did notice him it was to talk AT him and not too him.
He noticed no one said a word when he moved as they were all so caught up in their own worlds.
He noticed that it took several days to trickle down that he had actually talked to the brass that his Captain claimed was holding him back, and they in turn transferred him away from them to work elsewhere.
He noticed his OLD phone and number suddenly seemed to become known again as it blew up with angry messages, before he shut it down forever for his new phone and number.

He noticed much more than they thought he did, and now they noticed he was gone from them for their actions against him for an act that was never his fault to begin with.
