Ball 3

HP, Harry Potter, Moody, Fourth Year, Ball

Mad-Eye Moody was doing an extremely ungainly two-step with Professor Sinistra, who was nervously avoiding his wooden leg.
“Nice socks, Potter,” Moody growled as he passed, his magical eye staring through Harry’s robes.
“Oh — yeah, Dobby the house-elf knitted them for me,” said Harry, grinning.
“He is so creepy!” Parvati whispered as Moody clunked away. “I don’t think that eye should be allowed!”

Harry stopped still on the dance floor to his partner’s consternation, “Harry!”
“He looks through robes with that eye.” He said out loud.
She paled and stammered out, “W-w-what?”
“He complimented me on my socks.” Looking at her, “Though my robes.”

He took her over to a corner to sit down, and quietly called his friend and elf to elf-summon the damn eye, and banish it to the depths of the ocean, then tell Master Flitwick that pedophile had been looking at underage students’ goods with his eye all this time. And if he didn’t do something to avenge the honor of every underaged student in the school right now, he, Harry Potter, would make it known in the paper his duty and honor weren’t worthy the spit it took to say it.

There was a sudden roar from the pedophile of “GIVE THAT BACK!!” and a few moments later, from the other end of the hall, “Alastor Edward Moody! I challenge you to a formal Honor Duel! Here and now! You Pedophile!”

The Tournament Ball would go down in history for the honor duel in the middle of it that uncovered the wolf in wolf’s clothing. And the plot to kill one of the champions by placing him the Tourney in the first place.
The capture of the nascent Dark Lord in homunculus form and his tender. A supposed dead man, which cleared another man who had never received a trial but was set to be killed on sight by the MP of Magic. And brought his ministry down itself.

All because a hidden DE could help but say he was a Peeping Tom.
