Who took her? Mentally disturbed woman who lost a child? Good Samaritan who noticed a crying, abandoned in vehicle child, while the adult with her who ignored her, fed and watered himself only? Something darker? I’d prefer not darker, (absolutely no pedophilia), however I worked for a police communications unit for 16+ years. It’s unfortunately a fact of life.

How is she found? Is she found? What are the consequences of her kidnapping to everyone else. Does she show up 10+ years down the line, happy, healthy, having done an genealogy test, finding Buck? Gravesite in the desert? She was too far gone to help? I don’t know.

She was noticed by the small hobgoblins cleaning the walks that he had ignored. Her aura’s energy almost empty while his was as red as the Red Cap. His aura stained black around his mouth and hands and heart. The rest of it blood red in anger.

The disguised goblin that checked him in watched as he never wrote that he had kin staying with him. Nor did he ask for a crib to keep the little one in. He just grabbed the key and stomped off and let himself in while keeping her in her car seat. In the car. The door to his new room slamming shut behind him.
She barely moved or whimpered.

The brownies removed her gently to take her to the nanny while others summoned their Elders. The hobgoblins, tricksters that when were riled, put herbs in the man’s car to damage it when it got into the middle of nowhere.
“Nibble, nibble, like a mouse….” Electrical systems gave nice sparks when chewed on.
The Elder gently placed the changeling in the car seat. Making sure that this one was one of the quiet ones.
Quietly placing elfshot and sling in its reach for when the man reached his chosen destination.

Queen Mab looked at the babe, only a few months old, and sent for her brother, the Goblin King to take her under his care as one of his.

A/N 2: End Chapter: The Fae or Fairies of the old tales not Victorian or Disney had unbaptized children switched with changeling babies for one reason or another. Scholars think it was to explain deformities or other problems with infants at the time. Why an infant suddenly died of SIDs etc.
If an adult was thought to have been switched it was because they suddenly got well after getting deathly ill. Those thought to have been changelings were always killed as being unnatural. The latest was in 1888 where a family threw a woman/wife in the fireplace with the fire as she had suddenly gotten better from bronchitis after being given last rights. She died of her burns and the adults in the family were tried for her murder.
